AHL's workforce specialises in this type of project and derive a good deal of satisfaction from the traditional nature of the buildings. An inventive approach is often required, on one occasion this meant devising a means of hanging a barn structure in the air to allow the installation of foundations, on another devising a system of turning the pile of twisted narrow second hand oak supplied by the architectural salvage company into a staircase.

The barn is now a stunning home and the staircase well trodden!
